In early July, we held our first Awards Dinner which recognised and celebrated long serving staff members alongside those who have exemplified outstanding performance. As part of the process, staff were asked to nominate their peers for awards in five categories: Patient Service Excellence, Community Impact, Excellence, Leadership Achievement, and Light Hearted awards.

Our people are a key part of our secret sauce and even after so many years of service, staff remain highly motivated and continue to put forward fresh ideas. The event not only underscored the invaluable contributions of each honouree but also celebrated each and every employee who is dedicated to seeing the company succeed.

A special mention to our chief executive, Mark Eager, who is constantly striving for us to be the best that we can be in every corner of the services we provide; always asking “How can we do better?”. It is with great leadership, dedicated staff and a sense of belonging and worth that keeps ALL the wheels turnings… so to speak.

Congratulations to all of the award winners who went home with a pounamu | NZ Jade necklace and/or Oamaru Limestone carving.
