Local Legend Awards
Local Legend Awards
Our success is built on the dedication of many individuals, each contributing in meaningful ways across clinical care, operations, administration and essential support roles.
To recognise and celebrate these efforts, we have introduced the Local Legends Awards, an initiative designed to honour the outstanding people who help deliver exceptional care at our 25 rural host sites and beyond, whether working alongside us directly or supporting behind the scenes.
This award is our way of saying thank you for the vital role these individuals play in our health delivery service, but also for the lasting difference they make to patients, the broader healthcare system and the communities they serve.
Some of these individuals go even further, giving back in ways that extend well beyond their professional roles. From volunteering and mentoring young people, to providing mental health support, leading educational initiatives or contributing through other forms of community service, their commitment is truly remarkable.
Through this initiative, we aim to celebrate the full scope of their contributions, recognising not only their professional excellence but also the positive impact they create within their communities every day.
To nominate a local hero in your community, please complete the short online nomination form, or scan the QR code below.
